CNPL Season 4 (C4): Complete Team Rosters, Full Schedule & Season Preview

The Canadian National Pickleball League's fourth season โ€” C4 โ€” opens this weekend. Here is the most complete guide you'll find: every team, every player across all 8 rosters, the full season schedule with confirmed venues, and a close look at the opener happening right now.

From CNPL, we've compiled everything from official C4 draft results and league announcements โ€” all 48 players, all 8 venues, every event date โ€” so Canadian pickleball fans have a single resource to follow the season.

๐Ÿ“บ Watch live on Game+ โ€” the CNPL's official broadcast partner streams both courts at every C4 event all season long, live and on demand. Follow the league at cnpl.ca.

The C4 Season Opener: What to Expect This Weekend

The 2026 Club Med Season Opener takes place May 9โ€“10 at The Picklr Toronto West โ€” 70 Carson Street, Etobicoke, Ontario โ€” and it is a full 24-match event. That means every team plays, every matchup matters, and the entire C4 field is on the court together for the first time.

For context: a standard CNPL split event features 10 matches. The opener is a 24-match format, meaning this weekend will tell us far more about the true pecking order in C4 than any preseason prediction could. After months of roster moves, trades, a rebrand, and one of the most anticipated drafts in league history โ€” this is where it all becomes real.

๐Ÿ“ The Picklr Toronto West โ€” 70 Carson Street, Etobicoke, ON M8W 4Z6. 9 indoor courts, textured surface, free parking, WiFi, snacks & beverages. Home venue of Toronto United Pickleball Club. Wheelchair accessible.

What to watch for at the opener:

Can Montreal make a statement early? The Lions enter as back-to-back champions chasing an unprecedented threepeat. After losing Anne-Sophie Courteau to the London Smash in free agency, they signed Christina Chin in response. The opener is the first chance to see if that trade-off actually works on the court โ€” and whether Fajardo, Amyot, and Chin can build the chemistry needed to go deep in C4.

How dangerous is the London Smash? Analysts named them draft winners, and their top three of Ryan Torresin, Anne-Sophie Courteau, and Mark Cleminson is genuinely intimidating on paper. But the Smash no longer have Jessica Kawamoto โ€” who moved to Northern Lights โ€” and how they compensate for that in mixed doubles matchups will be a key storyline from day one.

Maria Klokotzky's C4 debut. Canada's #1 ranked player suits up for Toronto United in front of a home crowd this weekend. Picked 3.6 via a multi-team trade, she's the highest-profile acquisition of draft night and the player everyone will be watching. Toronto United are the hosts โ€” they have everything to prove and home court advantage to back it up.

The York Yeti's first real test. The rebranded franchise under new owner Cody Hodgson enters C4 with a completely new identity and a roster built entirely through this draft. The opener is their first chance to show whether the rebrand is more than cosmetic.

Grand River Rapids resurgence? Holding the first overall pick and bringing in Antoaneta Toskova and Lucas Wong as their core, the rebranded Rapids are a team with something to prove. After a tough 2025, the opener is their first statement.

Canadian Pickleball Is Here

Four seasons in, and the CNPL no longer needs to prove itself. Eight professional teams, 48 athletes, confirmed venues from Etobicoke to Burnaby, a cross-border franchise, a rebranded team under an NHL veteran, and four players from four continents competing for a championship โ€” that's not a grassroots league. That's a professional sport.

The debate this season isn't whether the CNPL is legitimate. It's whether Montreal can repeat, whether the London Smash can cash in on paper, whether a new-look Toronto United with Canada's #1 player can win in front of a home crowd โ€” and whether any of the teams built through this year's draft class can pull off the kind of upset that makes a season memorable.

We'll be following along all season. And we're proud to have Maria Klokotzky on the court representing what Canadian pickleball looks like at its best. ๐Ÿ
