The Apollo MK47 pickleball paddle is Apollo's most advanced paddle to date — co-designed court-side with Maria Klokotzky, Canada's #1 ranked female pro and former competitive tennis player. Featuring EPP + EVA foam core technology, T700 carbon fiber, a full EVA perimeter ring, and an extended handle built for tennis crossovers and two-handed backhands. Apollo's first signature pro paddle, built to put Canadian pickleball on the map.
What Makes the MK47 Different
EPP foam core — zero dead spots — closed-cell EPP structure delivers superior energy return and completely consistent feel from the first rally to the last. No drop-off. Every shot feels the same.
EVA perimeter ring — expanded sweet spot — a full ring of EVA foam wraps the core, absorbing off-centre hits and protecting your arm from fatigue. More of the paddle face is working for you on every shot.
T700 carbon fiber face with engineered texture — premium Toray T700 raw carbon grips the ball longer at contact, loading topspin on serves and giving you the placement precision that separates competitive from recreational play.
Honeycomb handle core — balanced swing weight — lightweight honeycomb composite inside the handle removes unnecessary mass from the grip end. Faster hand speed in kitchen firefights and better stability on punch volleys.
Hybrid shape — power & forgiveness — the wide sweet spot of a traditional paddle with the reach and leverage of an elongated. Forgiveness when you need it and power when you go for it, without choosing between the two.
Extended long handle — built for tennis crossovers — designed with tennis players and two-handed backhand players in mind. Maximum leverage on drives and serves. The exact grip length Maria relies on at the highest level of the Canadian game.
Included In The Box
Payload 4 Weight Clips
Every MK47 ships with 2× Payload 4 weight clips — precision 4g clips that snap onto the paddle edge. They come detached in the box. With nothing clipped on, the paddle is at its lightest and swings fastest, so play it that way first and get a feel for it. The clips are there if you want to customize from that baseline, not something you need to use. They snap on anywhere along the side edge with no tape and no residue, and where you place them changes how the paddle plays.
Start Here — How It Arrives
No Clips: Lighter Paddle, More Swing Speed
Your MK47 arrives with the clips detached, and that is the lightest the paddle gets. Less mass on the edge means a faster swing, quicker hands at the net, and less effort on every ball. Try it this way for a few sessions before you add anything. Plenty of players never move off it.
If you want to customize, here is what each position does
Upper Edge
Max Power & Plow-Through
Clip high on the side edge, near the top corners, to raise swing weight. More momentum through contact means heavier drives, deeper serves, and put-aways that stay put away.
Best for: Power players
Middle Edge
Stability & Forgiveness
One clip per side, level with the sweet spot. This boosts twist weight — the paddle resists rotating on off-centre hits. Mishits stay on target and blocks feel planted.
Best for: All-court players
Lower Edge
Speed & Solid Feel
Clip low on the side edge, near the throat, to add mass with almost no change to swing weight. Keep your hand speed in firefights while every touch feels more solid and dampened.
Best for: Kitchen battles
Pro tip: Play a few sessions with no clips at all so you know the paddle's natural feel. Then add them only if there's something you want to change: higher on the edge for more power, lower for faster hands. 4g high on the edge is felt far more than 4g down near the throat.
Playing a sanctioned tournament? The paddle ships in its certified configuration, and if you've added the clips they pop off in seconds. Check your event's equipment rules before you play.
